City Council public hearing to consider a Introduction of Ordinance to adopt the Coastal Commission’s modifications. Grant application for the California Housing and Community Development (HCD) SB-2 Planning Grants Program. Funds will be used to implement the programs in the 2019 Housing Element related to amending the zoning ordinance to make design standards more objective and expediting affordable housing projects.

On Thursday, June 13, 2019, the State Coastal Commission unanimously approved the Local Coastal Program Amendment (LCPA) associated with the City’s Housing Plan Update 2019. The action included a modification to the permitted uses on the Jackel Property (Site No. 7) included as part of the North 101 Corridor Specific Plan.
