Programs for everyone are offered year-round, held at our amazing Encinitas Community & Senior Center, in our top-notch parks and on our world class beaches. Register online at ActiveNet registration, or in person at the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department office at City Hall (505 S. Vulcan Avenue, Encinitas), and at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center (1140 Oakcrest Park Drive, Encinitas).

Your Encinitas Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department doesn’t end with great camps and classes, the Department also maintains and operates 6 miles of beaches, more than 20 parks, over 40 miles of recreational trails and the beautiful Encinitas Community & Senior Center. We pride ourselves on providing incredible places to play and enjoy. we encourage you to get out and enjoy all that Encinitas has to offer.

Movie in the Park - Elemental

Movie night is a perfect time to spend with your family and friends enjoying a blockbuster family-friendly film under the stars. Be sure to bring your blankets and low-backed chairs. Bring food and drinks to enjoy a picnic in the park, but please no glass containers. Fun movie inspired crafts and an interactive STEM walkthrough will start at 6:00 p.m. at the Glen Park Scout House. The movie will begin at dusk.

Encinitas Holiday Parade  

The community kicked off the holiday season at the 2023 Encinitas Holiday Parade. The parade is a long-standing tradition in Encinitas, bringing together the community for an evening of family fun for everyone. Special thanks to all the parade sponsors who support this treasured tradition: Ting Internet, Kickforce Martial Arts Encinitas, AMR Ambulance, and EDCO Disposal. Congratulations to the 2023 Parade Winners! Thank you for all of your effort and entertaining the thousands of spectators.
