Concerts
The Cultural Arts Division hosts a diverse range of concerts during the year. Ranging from Classical music to contemporary, these concerts bring the community together across different venues throughout the City.

The City of Encinitas is presenting the inaugural 2024 Youth Piano Concerto Competition winners in collaboration with the North Coast Symphony Orchestra. Young pianists in grades K-12 were invited to compete for the first-place prize of a contract to perform one movement of a selected concerto with the orchestra on a Steinway D concert grand piano.
The winners have been chosen! We are thrilled to have three incredible young musicians joining the North Coast Symphony Orchestra for a performance on June 15, 2024.

The donation-based free concert series Wednesdays@Noon was begun in 2012 to enrich the arts scene in Encinitas for residents, visitors, and cultural tourists from throughout the region. It has become the highest attended daytime series in the county with attendance of 160+ each week. The 50-minute concerts at the Encinitas Library feature outstanding musicians from throughout Southern California performing all styles of music. We hope to see you often! The City of Encinitas Arts Division is excited to be working with San Diego Music Society to present its 2023-24 season of Music by the Sea starting in November. Tickets will go on sale in September for performances that include pianist Natasha Paremski, violin and piano duo Christian Fatu and Evangelyia Delizonas-Khukhua, cello and piano duo Amit Peled and Peter Miyamoto, the Logos Quartet, soprano Caroline Nelms. cello and piano duo Paul Tseng and Justin Hansen, and more. A Season Pass for the Encinitas concerts is $145, individual concert tickets are $20 each when purchased in advance or $25 at the door, subject to availability.

Tickets will be available online through 5:00pm on the performance date, or until sold out. Any remaining tickets will be available at the door for $25 each. Artists and programs subject to change. No refunds or exchanges. All sales are final.

Support act: The Flailing Idiots (1:45-2.30pm) Flailing Idiot a pop punk trio from Vista, California. They are Sammie Augusto (13 years old) on vocals and guitar, Miya Schultheis (16) on Bass and Cameron Trueblood (16) on drums. They have been a band for 5 years playing originals and some covers all over San Diego. Check out their music out on all streaming platforms! |

Sunday August 25, 2024 The Beat Farmers3:00-5:00pm The Beat Farmers are an American rock & roll band formed in San Diego, California in 1983. They went on to release seven albums before disbanding in 1995, but there was always a demand by the fans for a reunion. With the demand for Americana music at an all-time high, The Beat Farmers time has come, and Jerry, Joey, Rolle and Bongo are primed and ready to get back out there and do what they do best, play shows that will not only remind their faithful following how amazing they were (and still are), but show a whole new generation of fans how amazing they still remain! Support Act: Trueblood (1:45-2:30pm) (Winners of the Leucadia 101 Battle of the Bands) TRUEBLOOD is a band of four brothers from Encinitas, California. Lead singer and guitarist Mason is 13. Youngest brother Ethan (11) can be found jumping off the nearest bass amp, slapping his bass guitar. Dylan (15) shreds on lead guitar and eldest brother Cameron (16) pummels the drums with his signature smile and impressive precision. Playing originals conceived in their garage studio, TRUEBLOOD has rocked audiences from San Diego to San Fransisco. Opening Act: Shred or Alive (12:45-1.15pm) (3rd place of the Leucadia 101 Battle of the Bands) Shred or Alive is an Encinitas band of talented musicians aged 13-14. They've been rocking out together for several years, playing at local events and festivals, bringing a fun and energetic vibe to every show! |

Tramonto
The Tramonto Music Festival was established by the City of Encinitas to offer audiences access to exceptional classical music experiences. Tramonto’s inaugural debut in summer 2023 will be produced by Jacopo Giacopuzzi and feature an ensemble of notable and award-winning international musicians.
This year's Tramonto Festival will run from September 12 through September 14, offering three different concerts and one "Meet the Artists" event on September 14.
