2024 WaterSMART Landscape Contest Winners Recognized
The annual WaterSMART Landscape Contest winners in the San Dieguito Water District are Alison & Costa Haramis of Leucadia. Alison and Costa removed turf from their front yard last spring and replaced it with California natives and other drought-tolerant plants, including several on the San Diego County Water Authority's "Nifty 50" list. They were recognized by the District during the June board meeting with a $250 gift card to Home Depot.
2025 Calendar Contest Winners Announced
Congratulations to contest winners Olivia Gainey, June Gosling, and Anna Sokoloff. These budding artists were recognized by the Board of Directors during the May meeting and represent the District in the 2025 Water Conservation Awareness Calendar. The calendar will be available in late December or early January. Olivia's winning poster represents our District. Thanks to all the artists and participating classrooms!
