Weds@Noon: Coulteri Quartet

  • Date: 07/26/2023 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
  • Introduction: FREE CONCERT

In 2023, four San Diego saxophonists (Brad Nash, Jordan Jellison, Daniel Kamon, and Todd Rewoldt) collectively agreed that southern California could benefit from a highly-artistic, uniquely-minded, and professional saxophone quartet. The Coulteri Quartet is committed to performing music written specifically for the saxophone quartet, while also giving a nod to past traditions with superior-quality arrangements and respecting stylistic interpretations.

Individually, they have been on the San Diego performance scene for numerous years: San Diego Symphony, La Jolla Music Society, Art of Élan, at Universities, libraries, music festivals, and in the public school system. It was only a matter of time before the Coulteri Quartet would emerge as an agent for great saxophone music.
