New update as of April 27, 2023:

Our contractor continues to install new Reinforced Concrete Pipe in place of the failed Corrugated Metal Pipe at the Lake Drive Sinkhole. Due to the multiple rain events throughout March, our new time frame for re-opening Lake Drive is late May.

Our contractor continues to install new Reinforced Concrete Pipe in place of the failed Corrugated Metal Pipe at the Lake Drive Sinkhole. Due to the multiple rain events throughout March, our new time frame for re-opening Lake Drive is late May.

Older update:

We expect the section of Lake Drive between Sea Village Way and Wales Drive to be closed for approximately 3 to 4 weeks while repairs are undertaken, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

 The City has established a detour route from Wales Drive to Crest Drive for ingress/egress around the Lake Drive closure.
