PROJECT STATUS

Segment C and North 101 Drainage Improvements, between Jupiter Street and La Costa Avenue, began construction in March 2024 with anticipated completion expected in summer 2025.

Tree removals have occurred and work along the medians is underway.  Excavation and installation of new 60-inch storm drain pipe began at Jupiter Street and will continue to Moorgate Road.  The next line of work will be replacement of the water line on the west side of N. Coast Hwy 101.  Installation of surface storm drains will be occurring throughout the project length.

Expect traffic control with intermittent lane shift, along with construction related activities and impacts including noise, dust, lighting, and large construction vehicles.  Access to driveways and businesses will be maintained.  Please support our local Leucadia businesses during construction.

On June 12, 2024 City Council approved additional funding for the completion of the North Coast Hwy 101 Drainage Project between Jupiter St. to La Costa Ave.
